Since mid-year, I've had the pleasure of owning two FeedingMasters, and I couldn't be happier with them. I care for a Haflinger named Senne and a Fjord named Ozzy, with Ozzy being particularly insatiable when it comes to food. In the past, she would finish her own hay net in no time and quickly move on to Senne’s, inevitably leading to squabbles between them. Unfortunately, offering unlimited hay wasn’t an option, as Ozzy would become visibly overweight. Using alternatives like straw or flax in the stables was also unfeasible—Ozzy devours everything in sight.

Previously, I would fill multiple hay nets, but it was especially difficult to keep both horses well-fed throughout the night. Managing their feeding for extended periods was simply unsustainable.

After much hesitation, I decided to purchase two FeedingMasters. My doubts mainly centered around the purchase price and whether they would actually be Fjord-proof. Fortunately, it quickly became clear that they are very sturdy devices and completely Fjord-proof.

Since having them, I can accurately monitor and control how much hay the horses receive. It’s such a relief to know that they have hay throughout the entire night. I no longer feel guilty if I come home a bit later, as the horses now always have hay. It’s the perfect solution for my horses, and I am absolutely delighted with the devices. An added bonus is that they are easy to fill and simple to operate. For me, they are highly recommended.
